Reynolds Park
3/6/10
A mix packed snow, soft snow, mud and ice. This trail is in great shape for a hike. The first 100m is a little muddy until you get passed the first creek crossing. From there, heading up the Oxen Trail it is mainly mixture of both soft and packed snow. All creek crossings are extremely icey, slick going even with Yak Trax. After the third creek crossing there is about 100m of mud but it is not too bad. The Eagle View Trail is in good shape with minimal mud. Once you reach the summit it is dry until you start to descend on the North side. Looping around to the Raven's Roost Trail is in good shape and has many areas that are already dry. Due to the conditions, I would only suggest this trail if you are looking to hike, it's a little to slick and soft to get a good run in and bikes aren't allowed on this trail.
