Hoping to find a wet tacky trail we were not disappointed. However, way to often, there was a layer of pine needles and cones which made the trail extremely slippery. The hail storm that moved through the area Friday night left the trail in rough shape. There were no soft spots to speak of but I would avoid this trail for a few days and let it get cleaned off and at this point with another 24 hours of rain the trail may be getting a little soupy by now.
