The creeks are starting to flow at Flying J so be careful at the crossing as you may break through at a couple of them. The Junction House Trail up to the bridge over the marsh is a little tricky with rough packed snow. If you take a left onto the Shadow Pine Loop you will have mainly dirt trails up until the service road. After the service road, you will find ice, and alot of it. Extra traction is definately a good idea in the trees. There is soft snow along the sides in many areas but there are many icey slopes into the creek beds. Not too many potential areas of mud as of yet so this trail should be useable all day.
