Deer Creek Canyon Park

5-22-10

As you ascend the Plymouth Creek Trail you will find a little water on the trail once you reach the area where the creek runs near the trail.  Most areas that are wet prior to the stairs you are able to avoid rather easily.  After the stairs you will fin some unavoidable water.  It's not running very deep and it's mainly over the rocks so the soil isn't soft and you ride without making tracks.  As you reach the ascent to the Red Mesa Loop you will find a couple creek crossings but other then that the trail is in great shape.  The meadow that was muddy a couple weeks ago is not packed and ready to ride.  Returning to the Plymouth Creek Trail and turning right onto the Plymouth Mountain Trail you will have clear and dry trails all the way around.   Another park that is good to go for the summer.
